UAE Pledges $8M to WHO Supporting Humanitarian Efforts in Sudan

 



In a good step to tackle Sudan’s humanitarian crisis, United Arab Emirates has dedicated $8 million to World Health Organization (WHO). This financing will help reinforce healthcare infrastructure, emergency response as well as disease prevention in Sudan. It is also within the framework of a wider $70 million pledge made to immediate humanitarian requirements of Sudan during the International Humanitarian Conference for Sudan and Neighbouring Countries held in April.
