UAE and Seychelles Discuss Parliamentary Collaboration

 



Though their connection is frequently characterized by immaculate beaches and clear waters, the UAE and Seychelles are connected in ways that go well beyond travel. Meeting with Waven William, Chairperson of the International Affairs Committee of the Seychelles National Assembly, on Friday marked a positive first step toward closer cooperation. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi is the Chairman of the Defense, Interior, and Foreign Affairs Committee at the Federal National Council (FNC) of the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting, held in Abu Dhabi, focused on fostering parliamentary relations between the two nations. Al Nuaimi and William, both holding prominent positions within the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), discussed potential areas of cooperation, including exchange of best practices, joint initiatives on issues of mutual interest, and strengthening parliamentary diplomacy.
