DP World Doubles Down on India with Major Investment MOUs
Dubai-based global port operator DP World has made a significant move in the Indian market, signing multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the provincial government of Gujarat. This strategic partnership promises to revolutionize India's port infrastructure and logistics landscape, paving the way for increased trade and economic growth. The MoUs encompass a wide range of projects, including the development of multi-purpose deep-draught ports in South Gujarat and along the western coast towards Kutch. Additionally, special Economic Zones are planned for Jamnagar and Kutch, while Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals (GCT) and Private Freight Stations are slated for Dahej, Vadodara, Rajkot, Bedi, and Morbi.
