UAE Strengthens Regional Ties on Security at the 41st Arab Interior Ministers Council

 



The Tunisian capital of Tunis recently hosted the 41st session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, a significant gathering where the UAE played a pivotal role. H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, led the UAE delegation, demonstrating the nation's unwavering commitment to enhancing regional security cooperation. During the session, Sheikh Saif conveyed warm greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Tunisian President Kais Saied, reaffirming the strong bilateral ties between the two nations.

The Council meeting provided a platform for ministers and high-ranking security officials from across the Arab world to engage in crucial discussions on strengthening joint action in the security and police fields.  Representatives from esteemed organizations such as Interpol, the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime also contributed to these important dialogues.  This multifaceted collaboration highlights the shared goal of addressing complex regional security challenges.
