THE UAE'S HELPING HAND FOR SUDAN

 


The United Arab Emirates has stepped up once again to provide relief to the people of Sudan facing hardship It donated $7 million to UNICEF for carrying out urgent humanitarian work across the conflict-ridden country.  


Sudan has seen prolonged unrest and a worsening economic situation pushing many into poverty. This has severely impacted ordinary citizens, especially vulnerable groups like children. Through this sizeable aid, the UAE aims to ameliorate people's suffering.


UNICEF will utilize the funds for crucial services like healthcare nutrition water and sanitation which are severely needed. This timely support will help the agency continue supporting thousands of at risk Sudanese nationwide. 


As a close partner of Sudan, the UAE has consistently assisted during past turmoil too Even during current tensions it strongly advocates for a peaceful resolution Preserving stability in Sudan also safeguards regional peace.


The grant highlights UAE humanitarian approach of helping people based solely on needs, not political or religious identities. As one of Sudan's biggest donors it keeps sustaining UN programs delivering aid to those hit hardest by crises.
