UAE Champions Peace and Humanitarian Aid in Sudan with $70 Million Commitment

The UAE stood out as a principle supporter of concord and charity donation to Sudan thus affirming their fidelity with confirmatory acts that entail immense dollar-funding and foreign relations gusto. During the most recent “International Humanitarian Conference For Sudan And Her Neighbors, it was pointed out that approximately 70%of their promised one hundred million dollars was going towards UN’s organs and charities. The considerable budget is meant to enhance the grim humanitarian situation in Sudan through the provision of basic food supplies, health care facilities, means for making a living as well as urgent housing.” Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, the UAE’s Minister of State for International Cooperation, remarked that giving aid to Sudanese is an indication of their allegiance towards them and trying to deal with the humanitarian problems of the area.

Besides putting in money, the UAE has been advocating for a quick and lasting peace in Sudan. There was a call by the UAE for going back to the political process and underlined the value of global as well as regional partnership in realizing peace together with development. The UAE said that peace should be promoted in Sudan by resolving the conflict through negotiations instead of war gifts. Common sense demands that no aids are being delivered unless there is an agreement among warring factions, they added. The United Arab Emirates stands out among many countries in terms for using diplomacy as well as supporting humanitarian missions such as delivery of supplies like medicine, food etc., during emergencies thus paving way for peace to reign forever in areas where there had been war.
