UAE and Egypt Conduct 25th Humanitarian Airdrop in Gaza: Birds of Goodness Operation

 


The Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence has announced a significant milestone in humanitarian efforts with the execution of the 25th airdrop of aid as part of the "Birds of Goodness" operation. This operation, which symbolizes solidarity and support, saw the collaboration of two C17 aircraft from the UAE Air Force and two C295 aircraft from the Egyptian Air Force. Together, they facilitated the delivery of 80 tonnes of food and relief aid to inaccessible areas in the northern Gaza Strip, marking a total of 1401 tonnes of aid delivered since the operation's inception.

The airdrop operation, conducted over isolated regions where traditional ground transportation is challenging, highlights the commitment to reaching those most in need amidst the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. As part of "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3," the Birds of Goodness initiative underscores a broader effort to provide essential assistance to the Palestinian people.
