During the visit, Sultan Haitham will meet with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss and bolster existing collaborations between Oman and the UAE. China and UAE to Deepen Cooperation in Strategic Areas

  China and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to deepen their cooperation in strategic areas, including development strategies, investment, and climate change. The two ministers agreed to take the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries next year as an opportunity to further consolidate the traditional friendship between their people. They also agreed to implement the important outcomes of the first China-Arab States Summit and the China-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, and to strive for reaching an agreement on the China-GCC free trade agreement as soon as possible.
