UAE Tops Global Entrepreneurship Index for Third Consecutive Year

In a landmark achievement, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has once again claimed the top spot in the Global Entrepreneurship Index (GEI), marking its third consecutive year at the pinnacle of global entrepreneurship. This year's victory holds special significance as the UAE achieved its highest-ever score on the index, an impressive 7.7, surpassing numerous developed economies on the list. This remarkable feat solidifies the UAE's position as the premier destination for starting and conducting business on a global scale.

His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, expressed pride in the UAE's achievement, emphasizing the country's commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem. He stated, "We are proud that the UAE has ranked first in the world in developing the entrepreneurship system and consolidating its position as the economy that most supports entrepreneurship and the first destination for establishing projects and commercial activities." This recognition highlights the UAE's unwavering dedication to providing entrepreneurs with the necessary support and resources to thrive in a competitive global market.

The GEI report further outlined the UAE's dominance in various key indicators of entrepreneurship, ranking first globally in 12 out of 13 indicators. These include financing entrepreneurial projects, ease of market access, commercial infrastructure, research and development, flexible legislation, and government support programs. Such comprehensive support systems, coupled with visionary leadership, have propelled the UAE to the forefront of global entrepreneurship, paving the way for continued success and innovation in the years to come.
