UAE Steps Up Humanitarian Aid for Gaza During Ramadan: How to Donate and Make a Difference

 



With the directives from His Highness the President of the State, the UAE is intensifying its humanitarian aid efforts for the Palestinian people in Gaza during the holy month of Ramadan. As the humanitarian crisis worsens in Gaza, the UAE is stepping up to provide emergency relief through various fundraising campaigns across the emirates. Two key initiatives, Dubai Cares and the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), are leading the charge in offering assistance to the besieged territory.


Dubai Cares has launched the "Gaza in Our Hearts" campaign, focusing on delivering hot meals, food baskets, and essential supplies like waterproof tents to Gaza. Collaborating with Anera and other partners, Dubai Cares aims to open aid corridors for the urgent delivery of life-saving supplies. Meanwhile, the Emirates Red Crescent's Ramadan Continuous Giving Campaign is providing support not only to needy families in the UAE but also with a particular focus on Gaza, aiming to distribute 10,000 iftar meals per day during Ramadan. Through these campaigns, UAE residents are encouraged to contribute directly via SMS, online donations, bank deposits, and ERC's donation centres, reflecting the nation's unwavering commitment to providing assistance to those in need during Ramadan and beyond.

China and UAE to Deepen Cooperation in Strategic Areas

  China and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to deepen their cooperation in strategic areas, including development strategies, investment, and climate change. The two ministers agreed to take the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries next year as an opportunity to further consolidate the traditional friendship between their people. They also agreed to implement the important outcomes of the first China-Arab States Summit and the China-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, and to strive for reaching an agreement on the China-GCC free trade agreement as soon as possible.
