UAE and Jordan Strengthen Economic Ties Through Joint Ventures

 



Prime Minister of Jordan, Bisher Khasawneh, and UAE Investment Minister, Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa Al Hammadi, recently convened in Amman to discuss mutual economic ventures. Both sides reiterated their countries' commitment to enhancing cooperation in investment and development sectors. The discussions highlighted the progress of investment projects outlined in the Memoranda of Understanding signed during His Majesty King Abdullah's visit to the UAE last November, amounting to approximately $5.5 billion.

During the meeting, Khasawneh and Al Hammadi emphasized the significant potential of these projects to bolster bilateral cooperation, stimulate investment environments, create economic opportunities, and generate employment. The deep-rooted bilateral relations between Jordan and the UAE were reaffirmed, with both parties expressing their dedication to exploring new avenues of cooperation. These efforts aim to further strengthen economic ties and foster mutual growth and prosperity.
