UAE Expands Compassionate Care in Gaza: Fifth Batch of Medical Volunteers Arrives at Field Hospital

 



Accepting its fifth group of volunteers, the UAE field hospital in Gaza continues to show its steadfast support for medical care. The hospital's ability to help the devastated population is further strengthened with the addition of eight committed professionals, bringing the total number of medical heroes on the ground to 43.

The field hospital has grown to be a symbol of healing and optimism in Gaza since it was founded. More than 757 cases have been resolved, 141 major procedures having been carried out, and innumerable others receiving daily treatment in specialist clinics. The hospital provides a comprehensive lifeline to individuals in need, ranging from intensive care units and specialized departments like dentistry and pediatrics to operating rooms outfitted for a variety of treatments.

This most recent wave of volunteers demonstrates the UAE's steadfast dedication to offering the people of Gaza essential medical assistance. Their knowledge and commitment provide the hospital's operations new life, guaranteeing continuity of care and broadening the range of services provided. The UAE's steadfast faith in the strength of compassion and unity in the face of tragedy is demonstrated by our continuing humanitarian endeavor.

China and UAE to Deepen Cooperation in Strategic Areas

The two ministers agreed to take the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries next year as an opportunity to further consolidate the traditional friendship between their people. They also agreed to implement the important outcomes of the first China-Arab States Summit and the China-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, and to strive for reaching an agreement on the China-GCC free trade agreement as soon as possible.
