UAE Welcomes Injured Palestinian Children in Groundbreaking Humanitarian Effort

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) welcomed the first group of injured Palestinian women and children on a special Nesma flight from Egypt to Abu Dhabi in a ground-breaking humanitarian endeavor. More than fifty people were on board the aircraft, which was chartered as part of the UAE's dedication to providing aid worldwide. Among them were injured people, medical personnel, and high-ranking officials. This effort demonstrates the UAE's unwavering commitment to aiding people in need all around the world and comes in response to an urgent request from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to treat 1,000 Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip medically.

Ambulances and emergency personnel were ready to meet the passengers upon their arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport from El Arish International Airport in Egypt. From the Airbus A320 aircraft, nine injured women and children—including a pregnant woman—were gently taken to a fleet of ambulances that were waiting. As part of its commitment to provide medical aid to the Gaza Strip, the UAE is initiating a series of flights, which demonstrate the nation's proactive involvement in crisis response and humanitarian relief on a worldwide scale.

This program demonstrates the UAE's leadership in advancing peace and providing crucial assistance to areas riven by violence. The UAE's persistent dedication to the welfare of those affected by disasters continues to be a ray of hope, even though this flight is the first of many.
