GMC Shines Spotlight on Abu Dhabi as Media Hub

Abu Dhabi's reputation as a vibrant media hub is being cemented by the Global Media Congress (GMC), which is a dynamic blend of policy, practice, and innovation. The GMC is the greatest place to meet, share ideas, and stay up to date on the latest developments in the media sector. It brings together a wide range of decision-makers, media experts, and news organizations, both state-run and commercial. The UAE is leading the way in the global media landscape thanks to a strong digital infrastructure, laws that promote the creative business, and an environment that is conducive to the media, according to Dr. Caroline Faraj, VP and Editor-in-Chief of CNN Arabic.

In a conversation with the Emirates News Agency, Dr. Faraj highlights how the UAE can help young people get involved in the media. The goal of the GMC's specialized sessions, which include seminars and events under the Educate stage, is to develop a new generation of storytellers by providing students and young journalists with the necessary tools. In his workshop "Youth and the Power of Storytelling," Dr. Faraj emphasizes how, given the proper resources and platforms, the younger generation has the potential to be the most skilled storytellers of our time. Her message is compelling: powerful media storytelling is built on authenticity and truth.

In addition to providing a forum for prominent figures in the business, the GMC highlights the influence of youth in molding the media landscape of the future. By combining policy talks, practical workshops, and an emphasis on presenting the truth, Abu Dhabi is creating a dynamic environment where tradition and innovation coexist in the dynamic field of media.
